| Okay guys I'm hoping some of you still read this This afternoon my computer started humming O_O, It's usually completely silent. I turned it on and aoff a few times, but overall, the sound stayed. I then opened it up and took a peek inside, turned things on.. no noise. But when I put the hood back on, the noise was back. I took the hood off and ran it naked for a while but .. noise My graphics card fan is turning reallllyyyy slow now and humming, but if I tap it lightly it goes back to fast and silent. Unfortunately I now have to tap it every 2 seconds, which is kinda pissing me offf..... Anyone know what I should do next? D: | |

| lol. What they said.
I would say it's just dust accumulated on the bearing and you might need to dust it out and apply new Fan bearing lubrication or if that's too much work for you... just buy a new fan. | |
